Molder Must Pay $15 Week In Alimony
Belleville News Democrat, September 20, 1919

Mrs. Olinda Hollerbach of this city will receive $15 a week alimony from Herman Hollerbach under the terms of the divorce decree awarded Mrs. Hollerbach by Circuit Judge Crow Saturday.

Hollerbach did not contest the suit. The wife also was granted the custody of their 8 year-old son.The divorce was granted on grounds of extreme and repeated cruelty and druckenness. According to Mrs. Hollerbach's testimony, her husband, who is a molder making good wages, got drunk almost every night. The couple were married in Millstadt April 17, 1910.

Mrs. Hollerbach told of numerous times her husband beat her. On July 28 she charged he pushed through a screen door causing her to fall down a flight of stairs and land on a brick sidewalk.

Mrs Schrag was a member of Circle A of St Pauls Evangical and Reformed Church. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Monday afternoon at St Pauls Church Rev B,J, Koehler officiating. Internment will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Pete Gaerdner Funeral Home.
