WERE MARRIED IN MASCOUTAH

    Joseph F. Jung, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Jung of Engelmann township, and Miss Katie Welker of the same place, were united in marriage by Rev. Father Charles Kubimann in the catholic Church at Mascoutah. The couple was attended by William Welker, a brother of the bride, and Miss Thekla Jung, a sister of the bridegroom.

Mrs. Christ Jung No. 2 was pleasantly surprised last Thursday evening in honor of her 40th birthday. The evening was pleasantly spent in magic, singing, playing cards and other games. Refreshments of all kinds were served and an enjoyable time was had by all. The celebrators departed at a late hour and wished Mrs. Jung many more happy birthdays.
