Cletus (Babe) Earl Jung
b:June 28,1922; Belleville, Il., St Clair County
On 25 of Oct, 1944 he was listed MIA after a attack on his ship the USS Hoel.
On Oct. 26, 1945 we was listed as dead. His rank at his death was Machinist's Mate, Third Class, in the U.S. Navy. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
